Virtual Seminars

Whether you’re launching your company’s first ever apprenticeship programme, or you’re looking to add a new apprenticeship standard to your existing programmes, you'll need a training provider, and we're here to help.

Using our in-depth knowledge of the training provider market, we are running a series of virtual seminars with the help of expert guest speakers.

The series kicked off in March 2021 with a comprehensive session that tackled the universal challenges of finding a training provider. Moving forward, we are running a series of 'deep dive' sessions, focusing on specific types of apprenticeships, e.g. digital, legal or marketing apprenticeships.

The specific topics of these sessions will be chosen by our community members.

The Training Provider Procurement Process: Best practice recommendations for how employers should approach a tender

Thursday 19th August - 10am - 11am

This 'best practice' panel discussion will help our attendees to better understand how they should be approaching the procurement process once they have identified a shortlist of training providers. This will be a panel discussion with three guest speakers, ready to share their insights and best-practice recommendations.

Topics of discussion:

  • Do I need to undertake a formal tendering process? If so, why?
  • How should the procurement process be structured?
  • What does good look like? In bids and in reality.
  • What questions should we be asking a training provider to answer in their bid?
  • Top tips for straightforward apprenticeship training provider procurement.
